Meet the group in Palermo, where we will spend a day experiencing the big city. We’ll then head east to discover the ancient ruins at Agrigiento. Then, we’ll head to spend two days in Taormina, where the simmering Mt. Etna volcano lingers in the background. All along the way, we’ll learn about the wine history of Sicily, including the wines of Marsala, the historically important dessert wines of Syracuse, and the unique flavors from Pantelleria. 

Adventure Level: Medium - we’ll visit vineyards, and there will be a vineyard walk or two. 

Meals: will be mostly a mix of casual and semi-casual, with at least 1 fancy meal. 

Clothes:  Sicily is semi-casual. You will want sneakers or boots for visiting the wineries, and you’ll want layers for the hot days and cold nights on the island. Bring one nice outfit appropriate for a Michelin star restaurant.

Plus $350 Travel Insurance per person, or show proof of travel insurance, or waive liability
