We're taking a small group to visit the Greek vineyards of Crete! 

September 14-21, 2025

Meet the group in Chania, where we will spend three days near the harbor of what was once a Venetian palace. In Chania, we’ll discover the seaside cuisine, visit the mountains, and talk with winemakers. Then, we’ll travel to Heraklion and see the ancient capital of the Mediterranean Sea. We’ll discover the thriving metropolitan city, see the historic ruins of Knossos, and visit the surrounding wine regions. We’ll head east to spend two days in relaxed Sitia, where we’ll visit the famous beach of Crete. Then, we’ll drive through the wild oregano bushes back to the city. Plan your departure from Heraklion, after an immersive 7 days in the culture, wine, and food of Crete!

Adventure Level: Medium - we’ll visit vineyards, and there will be a vineyard walk or two.

Price does not include airfare to and from Crete. We leave this up to each individual, because the travel needs of each of our guests are so different. Plan your arrival into CHQ airport (Chania). Plan your departure from Heraklion International Airport (unless you are joining the optional Santorini Island add-on). There are also ferries that can bring you to Crete.

Payment Schedule:

$1,000 per person non-refundable deposit required, due by November 15th, 2023. The $1,000 deposit, payable through our website, will hold your spot on the trip. We'll invoice you for the remaining balance of the trip after confirming your travel details. If you have any questions, email us at [email protected] and we can go over all of the details. 

50% of total due by April 15th, 2025

Full balance due by August 15th, 2025
