Cellier Saint Sever Prochaine Chardonnay

The vineyard is in the Languedoc Region of France. A winemaker we have worked with since the early days. A fruit forward chardonnay with French sensibilities of balance while the fruit from here gets ripe and the production technique includes lots of lees stirring with a little trick that the winemaker would save the spent lees from a Viognier fermentation, and while the Chardonnay was fermenting he would stir it on these lees, which gave the wine more exotic tropical flavors along with chardonnay tree fruit. Not oaky and oh so easy to drink. Ripe and Clean varietal fruit, with a rounded palate. pear, apple, lemon, and mineral. No wonder this is such a popular value of a chard.
