Terre Promises Bandol Rosé
A former political scientist, Jean-Christophe Comor started a tiny winery in the early 2000s in a cabin in a remote corner of Provence. He farms organically, and makes almost exclusively Provençal rosés, with the Bandol rosé at the very top. Low intervention is the watchword here, with now filtration, little fining and minimal addition of SO2, but the wines are clean, delicate, and very very pretty. Bandol rosés have become scarce and expensive in recent years, but we think this one is worth the money. Treat yourself to a fine wine that just happens to be a rosé!
