Maison Noir OPP Pinot Noir
André Hueston Mack is a banker-turned-winemaker whose skill with pinot noir and sense of fun design have made him justifiably famous. The OPP Pinot Noir (originally named as he contracted "Other People's Pinot" from vineyards around Oregon's Willamette Valley) is André's most approachable cuvée, but it is by no means simple. Lovely fruit and a slight smokiness (a product of the grape, not the recent wildfires) give this wine sophistication and pleasingness well beyond its price point. Give this silky number a try!
