Early Mountain Young Red

The Young wines from Early Mountain are intended as a way to focus on hybrid grapes, low intervention winemaking (Low sulphur, native yeast), and easy going, extremely drinkable wines. We can attest that they are extremely drinkable! These wines are also meant to promote hybrid grapes as a path forward to more sustainable winegrowing in our region. Valley fruit is used here in order to get vibrant acidity and 4% skin contact Vidal Blanc is blended in to boost the wine's tannic structure a bit. The result is a juicy, food friendly red. Set a few bottles aside and serve it with a chill alongside all the harvest/fall/Thanksgiving meals to come!
