Château Falfas Côtes de Bourg

Château Falfas was rebuilt in 1512 on foundations that go back to the 100 Years War.  The estate lies directly on the right bank of the Gironde.  Véronique Cochran, the daughter of the man who literally wrote the French book on Biodynamics, has been farming in that method since 1988, long before most of France.  Old vines, low yields, and hand-harvesting of each varietal at peak ripeness make this wine one of the top Côtes de Bourg at any price.  Beautiful Bordeaux, drinking perfectly, and just in time for Fall.

55% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec
