Casata Monticello Nebbiolo d'Alba

Casata Montcello is run by a 4th generation wine producing family and is located in Monferrato. With 30 hectares of vineyards in the Piedmont region, this particular wine is grown in Alba which is south west of the town of Monferrato. Alba became a DOC in 2010 and is also known for Barbera and Dolcetto. We have stocked this Nebbiolo for years and it quietly chugs along as a go-to choice for customers stocking mixed cases for everyday drinking. It is a full and structured red perfect for red meat, rich (and slightly stinky) cheeses, or something charred on the grill.
