Cambridge Road Bianco

Lance Redgwell is producing wines on a 2.2 hectare 35 year old vineyard in Martinborough New Zealand. The vineyard has spent the vast majority of its life under organic farming and biodynamic practices were introduced by Lance when he acquired the property in 2006. At the start of the operation he handled every task associated with the vineyard himself and considers that to have been foundational in learning how to make wines that reflect the soil and environment. Though it can seem cliché at this point  the Cambridge Road philosophy truly is that the wines are made in the vineyard and the winemaker making style is very low intervention. They use almost no sulphites and make no other additions of any kind to wine. This bianco is a skin contact Sauvignon Blanc full of tropical fruit and bright acidity.
